Panama City International Airport update!
On Monday, February 4th, 2008 according to Panama City-Bay County International Airport Director Randy Curtis,  the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has reinstated the Section 404 permit and Phoenix Construction is onsite doing construction work.   Read more here.
Jan. 28th, the Panama City/Bay County International Airport announced the stay on construction for the new airport has been lifted by the US Court of Appeals. The Next step is in the hands of the Army Corp of Engineers to lift their suspension.
The Airport also announced US Air will begin servicing Panama City in April.
